it’s been ten years, and the most important thing i learned is to look at faces and body even more closely. back story helps too, i would say, when it comes to identifying character. and i don’t mean those that necessarily populate plot. i do mean it’s hard to connect and make friends with the same people who write fleshed out roles. we all become experts at portrayal in the end, and we learn to hide in a corner and project.
